SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP in Hawthorne, CA is looking for a Software Engineer in Engineering Simulation & Automation. In this role, you'll develop automated simulation tools to enhance engineering productivity for launch vehicles and spacecraft.

You'll design scalable simulations that support large datasets for AI models and collaborate with experts to overcome engineering challenges. Qualifications include a degree in a relevant field or comparable software experience, along with expertise in simulation tools like ANSA and Star-CCM+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, math, or related field; OR 4+ years of experience building simulation pipelines.
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with at least one simulation domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated simulation pipelines for AI training datasets.
• Identify bottlenecks with domain engineers and build productivity tools.
• Build parametric workflows for geometry and simulation execution.
• Collaborate closely with ML engineers to improve data quality.
