Warrior Insurance Network (WIN) is seeking an Underwriting Operations Specialist to support efficiency, compliance, and workflow effectiveness within the Underwriting Department. This role partners with the Underwriting Operations Manager to administer processes, test systems, and implement new tools.

The ideal candidate has a background in insurance operations with strong analytical skills, and experience with operational audits, reporting, and training development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in insurance operations, underwriting, policy administration, or related functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with trend identification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operational initiatives, process improvements, and projects.
• Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and technology for efficiency and compliance.
• Support testing, implementation, and maintenance of underwriting systems and workflows.
• Document requirements, conduct testing with QA, and validate improvements.
• Prepare reports and analyses to support leadership decisions.
• Develop training materials and reference guides for multiple teams.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and underwriting standards.
• Assist with vendor performance monitoring and cost analysis.
• Collaborate with IT, Claims, Marketing, and external vendors to resolve issues.
