Qualifications

• 2+ years professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree (Economics, Accounting, Finance, or similar preferred).
• Knowledge of SQL is essential.
• Python experience a plus, with the desire to learn a must.
• Automation mindset and aptitude for AI tools to write and debug queries.
• Analytical and inquisitive mindset with a desire to learn.
• Strong Excel knowledge.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
• Collaborates across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform finance related recurring operations, such as loan sales to investors.
• Process automation – initiate, engineer and maintain scripts to streamline functions.
• Read, debug, and modernize existing SQL and Python pipelines; not just build new ones.
• Empower other teams by being a subject matter expert for loan data and processes.
• Perform ad hoc data analysis and clearly communicate insights to internal/external partners.
• Build out validations and governance controls to protect against fraud and errors.
