Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Test Automation Engineer for a long-term contract in Englewood, CO. Qualifications

• 5+ years of automation and manual testing experience focusing on front-end UI, web, and/or mobile apps.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Kiro or Claude in SDLC contexts.
• Strong experience with WebDriverIO and with automation using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Cucumber-based test automation and manual testing across web and mobile.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development practices to accelerate test creation and reduce maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for customer-facing web and mobile apps.
• Build end-to-end automated tests using WebDriverIO, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Cucumber.
• Perform hands-on manual testing to validate usability, accessibility, and analytics requirements.
• Apply AI-assisted SDLC practices including prompt-driven testing and code reviews.
• Develop testing strategies combining AI-assisted development, automation and manual testing.
• Create and maintain QA processes for test planning, execution, reporting, and defect management.
• Engage in inception, design, and development sessions to embed quality across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Development and stakeholders to define coverage.
• Validate functional, accessibility, and analytics requirements across web and mobile experiences.
• Evaluate AI-driven testing tools to improve QA efficiency.
• Document testing standards and best practices for reuse.
• Execute testing across all phases of the Agile SDLC.
