Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing for UI, REST APIs, and data layers in an Agile environment. Build frameworks from scratch using Playwright or Cypress and .NET/NUnit, and integrate tests into CI/CD for robust validation across UI and services.

The role is onsite in Seattle with a Friday remote option and requires immediate availability and a mandatory background check.

Qualifications

• UI automation using Playwright or Cypress with reliable tests
• API automation with .NET/C# and NUnit including REST testing and status validation
• Design and build automation frameworks from scratch with reusable components and reporting
• Strong programming in C# and/or JavaScript for .NET/NUnit API automation
• End-to-end testing strategy across UI, API, and data layers
• API-based content validation; mock UI behavior and stubbed services
• CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions with dotnet test and NUnit/TRX
• Git branching, PRs, code reviews, and collaborative automation development
• AI-assisted testing to accelerate test development and debugging
• Agile/Scrum delivery; coordinate testing with development teams and adapt automation as apps evolve
• Work onsite in Seattle; ready for immediate start and able to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, and maintain automated testing for UI, REST APIs, and data layers.
