Job summary

SK Hynix Memory Solution in San Jose, CA is seeking a Software Engineer in Test Automation and Agentic workflows for a 6‑month internship. You will help design and build intelligent automation that executes tests, optimizes scheduling, and creates scalable frameworks used by our quality teams.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and tools like N8N, OpenClaw, and Hermes, plus Ansible, Linux, and Python.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Productive use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in day-to-day engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash/Shell scripting, PowerShell with demonstrated automation scripting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS, including CLI, scripting, and system administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for root-cause analysis.
• Experience with OS installation, Linux CLI and network setup.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI Agents and Agentic workflows to automate test execution and scheduling processes.
• Implement MCP to enable integration between AI agents and testing tools and systems.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and test environments.
• Maintain lab equipment such as Enterprise servers and PCs.
• Execute test automation, monitor failures, and report results to stakeholders.
