Job summary

iA (Innovation Associates) is seeking a Software Test Architect to shape test engineering across its Cloud, On-Premise, Retail, and modernization products. You will partner with QA and engineering to define architecture, evaluate tools, and create scalable automation strategies while coaching teams to adopt automated testing.

You will lead proofs of concept, implement AI-driven test approaches, and align with product goals, architecture, and DevOps to improve release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Eng or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in test automation, test architecture, or SDET roles.
• Experience building scalable automation frameworks (UI/API/integration).
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript/Java/JavaScript/C#/Python.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD and using VCS, PRs, code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve test automation architecture across Cloud/On-Premise/retail products.
• Lead proofs of concept and create reusable reference implementations for UI, API, integration, performance testing.
• Architect and implement AI test agents and AI-driven testing frameworks.
• Coach teams to convert legacy QA to automated testing with demonstrable ROI.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines, plans, work items, and reporting.
