Job summary

Experis Technology Group is seeking a Technical Writer/CPU Documentation Engineer in Austin, onsite. You will own end-to-end delivery of CPU core documentation, drafting and publishing content such as data-books and white papers, with AI-assisted tooling and rigorous human verification.

You will collaborate with the CPU design team to ensure machine-readable content and proper revision control, using XML/ODT formats and AI workflows. Strong prompt engineering and tool proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Experience using AI/LLM tools in a professional technical writing or engineering workflow.
• Ability to integrate AI into production work with sound judgment on trust, verification, or rejection of outputs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and OpenOffice.
• Experience automating tasks with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of structured documentation formats (XML, ODT) and revision control systems (Perforce, CVS, Subversion, Git).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of technical documentation for CPU Cores.
• Draft, edit, review, and publish technical content (errata, data-books, white papers, application notes, and web content).
• Use AI-assisted authoring tools with rigorous human review and fact-checking before release.
• Build and maintain AI-enabled documentation workflows and templates.
• Collaborate with the CPU design team to ensure content is machine-readable and AI-friendly.
