Auger in Bellevue, WA seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to bring structure to ambiguity and ensure critical initiatives land. You will work directly with engineers and architects to understand tradeoffs, partner across engineering, product, and business leadership to align priorities, and drive execution with urgency.

You’ll apply AI-native approaches to automate status tracking, surface risks earlier, and reduce coordination overhead, enabling focus on real problem solving.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams on architecture, tradeoffs, and dependencies.
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Linear, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent).
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• A proven track record driving process improvements and program execution strategies.
• Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to leadership and executive teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, running scrums, and software development lifecycle processes.
• An AI-native working style.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely execution and high-quality outcomes.
• Work closely with engineers and architects to understand technical challenges, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
• Partner with leadership across engineering, product, and business functions to align priorities and resolve roadblocks.
• Develop and refine processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and transparency across engineering and product teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively to keep execution on track before problems become fires.
• Define key success metrics and provide clear, regular updates on project status, risks, and performance to leadership.
• Use AI tools natively in how you work to speed up coordination and focus on solving core problems.
• Foster strong communication across teams, keeping everyone aligned on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
