Job summary

Apple News Operations is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to build and maintain full-stack internal tools and data applications that power our workflows. You will work across engineering, data, and publisher teams to automate processes and reduce manual effort at scale.

You will apply AI-assisted development practices, provide technical guidance to publishers, and help them integrate with the platform, combining problem-solving with partner-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering or technical operations with shipped internal tooling or automation systems.
• Strong Python skills for scripting, automation, or backend services.
• Hands-on experience designing and optimizing both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with React and frontend technologies.
• Ability to analyze data and build solutions that drive actionable insights.
• Familiarity and interest in applying AI to enhance tooling and productivity.

Responsibilities
