Job summary

AMCA International is seeking a highly organized professional for the Technical Services department to lead reviews of catalogs and software, help develop ANSI test standards, and support accreditation activities. You will collaborate with manufacturers, engineering committees, and laboratory staff while advancing data analysis and AI-enabled tooling.

The role emphasizes technical review, standards development, and international travel, with a senior level of responsibility in a hub office

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10+ years of experience in related field.
  • HVAC system and selection experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities are needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in research or technical projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review manufacturers’ catalogs and selection software for compliance with AMCA publications.
  • Liaise with marketing departments of member companies to ensure the integrity of technical marketing information.
  • Participate in Standards Development with ANSI-accredited test standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert based on experience in the AMCA laboratory.
  • Support AMCA Laboratory Accreditation activities: understand the physics behind AMCA test standards; visit manufacturers’ laboratories to evaluate testing capabilities; participate in travel.
  • Work closely with laboratory technicians and engineering staff.
  • Assist in promoting AMCA programs and communicating with members and industry professionals.
  • Utilize data analysis tools, automation, and AI tools to improve technical review processes, data handling, reporting, and efficiency.
  • Assist in developing automated workflows, data analysis tools, or AI-assisted tools related to catalog review, test data analysis, and standards documentation.
