Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) offers a ten-week paid internship in Chicago, IL. The program engages with Technology Delivery, Information Security, Infrastructure and Product Engineering teams to work on real projects and learn enterprise delivery practices.

As an intern, you will analyze data, research AI use cases, present findings to leadership, and contribute to improving delivery efficiency while maintaining HIPAA and compliance awareness.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• Available for the full 10-week duration.
• Unrestricted US work authorization; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the internship program and support business objectives and member-focused solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams such as Information Security, Infrastructure and Product Engineering.
• Learn and apply the organization’s processes, programs and technologies including AI capabilities.
• Own project components with mentor guidance and deliverables ownership.
• Research, analyze data and develop recommendations informing real business decisions.
• Deliver a final internship presentation to leadership covering project results and recommendations.
