Job summary

Stealth Startup is hiring for an experienced test engineer to guarantee the full system works from PHY through cloud protocol logic. You will build tests, drive simulation accuracy, and own the validation loop in a simulation-first environment.

The role emphasizes end-to-end testing, AI-assisted test generation, and a path toward leadership as the org scales. Onsite in San Diego with some WFH flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience designing and executing system-level tests for wireless products across protocol layers.
• Strong simulation methodology to credibly validate protocols.
• Ability to think across PHY to cloud and design tests accordingly.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for test infra development.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute end-to-end test plans for the full PHY-to-cloud stack.
• Lead simulation-to-hardware validation to ensure credibility of results.
• Develop AI-augmented test generation to increase coverage of edge cases.
• Define done criteria and sign off for features moving from sim to hardware.
• Build and maintain fast, repeatable test tooling and automation.
