Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a student intern to join the Systems Architecture team, contributing to Generative AI in product management and automation initiatives. You will help develop AI-driven tools and support cross-functional collaboration with engineering, services, manufacturing and digital technology.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science Engineering.
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing AI-driven tools to improve and augment key business functions in engineering and product management.
• Engage with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Services, manufacturing and digital technology, to integrate new methodologies.
• Support the training and adoption of Generative AI tools within the organization.
• Technical Research & Prototyping: Assist the engineering team in subcomponent selection, hardware research, and lab-based prototype demonstrations to validate automation initiatives.
• Data Gathering & Computer Vision: Drive collection of visual data from site visits.
• Documentation & Operational Enablement: Help bridge the gap between development and field operations by assisting in the creation of training materials, and documentation required for handover to the services teams.
• Work with the services team to drive productivity initiatives for planned inspections and upgrades.
