Job summary

Applied Materials in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a strategic PMO leader for the Joint Operations Leadership Team (JOLT). You will plan and review SRs and QBRs, track programs, and develop AI-enabled PMO tools to provide executive insights.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Global Quality to identify initiatives, drive execution, and improve operational performance. This is a full-time role offering mentorship and exposure to senior leaders in a global materials science leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong self-motivation and problem‑solving ability.
• Comfortable with ambiguity in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
• Advanced AI fluency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage JOLT annual strategic planning & reviews (SR), quarterly business reviews (QBR) and internal senior leaders’ forums.
• Develop and own strategic program trackers, scorecards, and dashboard to provide performance visibility.
• Develop and deploy AI-enabled PMO tools and workflows that deliver executive insights, improve decision‑making, enhance productivity, and accelerate execution.
• Identify functional connections, opportunities, and initiatives by partnering with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, BU operations, AGS operations, and Global Quality organization.
• Organize and coordinate JOLT executive reviews, governance forums, ensuring clear action tracking and accountability.
• Conduct strategic analysis and research on semiconductor industry, emerging technology/business, industry trends to inform executive decision‑making.
