Job summary

Experis in Jersey City, NJ seeks an AI + SQE Automation Engineer to strengthen the Quality Engineering team across the SDLC. You will design automation for UI, API, integration and end-to-end tests, using AI tools to optimize test cases and documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration in Agile environments and continuous improvement, with exposure to cutting-edge AI-assisted testing, and opportunities to advance skills in CI/CD and test data quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and API testing within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and API automation frameworks like REST Assured.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools including GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and prompt engineering techniques.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, APIs, and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot to generate and optimize test cases, scripts, and documentation.
• Perform AI-assisted test impact analysis to identify affected applications, APIs, and regression scope.
• Validate data quality, business rules, controls, and compliance requirements to ensure high standards of software quality.
