Job summary

Ethos is recruiting for a seasoned special education director to guide AI-assisted document workflows. You will own the writing and reviewing of IEPs and ensure IDEA compliance while shaping AI-generated narratives, tables, and trackers.

The role is fully remote with flexible 5–20 hours per week, starting ASAP. Compensation is $90/hour, with ongoing opportunities to expand hours if desired.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a special education teacher, IEP coordinator, or district special-education specialist.
• Direct ownership of writing or reviewing IEPs and related IDEA compliance documentation.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine IEP-related documents for AI-assisted workflows.
• Evaluate and improve AI-generated IEPs, 504 plans, and related documents.
• Collaborate with researchers to train AI on professional documents and ensure IDEA compliance.
