Job summary

Starbucks Corp. seeks a Product Manager to own functional design specs and the AI-enabled sourcing platform backlog. You will translate procurement workflows into engineer-ready requirements, prioritize AI features, and coordinate with stakeholders to unblock engineering.

You will drive module sign-off gates, governance checks, and cross-functional collaboration with procurement, finance, and legal. The role emphasizes tech fluency, strong communication, and experience shaping AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Proven ability to write crisp product requirements, functional design docs, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Experience running agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives, and stakeholder demos.
• Strong prioritization under ambiguity and ability to decompose complex workflows.
• Knowledge of API contracts, data schemas, and system diagrams, with AI/ML product awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional design specifications and product backlog across the AI-enabled sourcing platform.
• Define and prioritize AI-enabled features across the platform.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve data, integration, and policy questions blocking engineering.
• Drive module sign-offs and maintain engineer-ready user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate structured gates and AI governance checkpoints with Security, Architecture, and Legal.
