Job summary

EY is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to design, prototype, and build modern AI-enabled applications and digital products. You will drive architectures, review code, and guide engineering teams in build-and-run engagements within Digital Engineering Managed Services.

Ideal candidates have extensive software engineering experience, cloud-native design expertise, and a strong ability to communicate complex technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Typically 8+ years in engineering and solution architecture roles, with recent hands-on delivery responsibility.
• Prior consulting or complex product delivery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architectures across UI, APIs, data and AI components.
• Prototype solutions to validate architectural decisions early.
• Define reference architectures for AI-enabled products, including RAG patterns and prompts.
• Author ADRs, sequence flows, deployment diagrams and non-functional requirements.
• Lead technical workshops with client architects and engineers.
• Ensure solutions are production-ready with runbooks and handoffs.
