Job summary

EY seeks a hands-on Solution Architect to design, prototype and build modern AI-enabled applications and digital products in a digital engineering context. You will work across architectures, code, pipelines and PO/insights to guide engineering teams and ensure secure, production-ready solutions.

You will lead architecture decisions, review AI-generated code, and drive patterns for scalable, reliable services with strong security and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 8+ years in engineering and solution architecture roles with recent hands-on delivery.
• Prior consulting or complex product delivery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end application architectures across UI, APIs, services, data, AI components and runtimes.
• Prototype solutions to validate architectural decisions early using code, configs and pipelines.
• Define reference architectures for AI-enabled products including RAG and prompts.
• Author ADRs, sequence flows, deployment diagrams and non-functional requirements.
• Lead in-code design with engineers to set patterns and ensure quality and security.
• Provision architecture governance, security-by-design and responsible AI controls.
