Job summary

Sol is seeking a Solution Delivery Director to lead client delivery for complex engagements, driving end-to-end execution, quality, and measurable impact. Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in consulting or professional services with a focus on client-facing delivery.
• 5+ years in a delivery leadership role at a management consulting or professional services firm.
• Proven track record delivering complex, multi-workstream engagements on time and on budget.
• A hands-on, results-driven mindset with comfort in both delivery detail and executive discussions.
• Strong program/project management fundamentals; capable of scaling processes to project size.
• Proven leadership and people-management experience.
• Ability to translate complex delivery situations into clear narratives for executives and teams.
• Preferred: experience in Sol’s practice areas (AI Acceleration, AdTech, Workforce & Operations Systems, Media/ Gov & Education).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across complex, multi-workstream client engagements—from scoping and design to execution, go-live, and post-delivery review.
• Serve as the senior client-facing lead on active engagements, managing escalations and maintaining trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Translate client challenges into structured delivery plans with defined architectures, KPIs, and success criteria.
• Lead and develop cross-functional delivery teams, coach on deliverables and performance processes.
• Identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers, with proactive risk mitigation and status reporting.
• Embed AI tools and accelerators into delivery workflows to boost throughput and quality across engagements.
