Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara is seeking a NICo Software Development team member to help automate the software defect lifecycle using AI. You will evaluate, dispatch, and track incoming defects, and contribute to advancing the platform for the future of computing.

In this role you will develop fixes, build AI agents for defect intake and triage, collaborate with the quality team, and improve the pipeline to ensure timely communication of defect status.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in automating software development workflows using AI.
• Experience with GitHub and software development tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop software fixes within the NICo team and ensure timely delivery.
• Write AI agents to automate defect intake and initial triage/assignment.
• Collaborate with quality team to verify defect sources and reproduce steps.
• Improve the defect pipeline to communicate status to stakeholders.
• Apply AI to advance open source software development and automated ticket triage.
