Job summary

NVIDIA NICo Software Development Team in Santa Clara is seeking a Systems Software Engineer to automate sections of the software development lifecycle using AI. You will write AI agents for defect intake, triage, and assignment, and work with the quality team to reproduce and verify defects.

You will collaborate across a distributed team to improve the defect pipeline, enable timely updates, and push open-source style development with strong feedback loops.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
• 2+ years automating software development workflows using AI.
• Experience with GitHub and related tooling.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a distributed team.
• Foundations of AI and LLM deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop software fixes and deliver them in a timely manner.
• Create AI agents to automate defect intake triage and assignment.
• Collaborate with quality team to verify defects and reproduce steps.
• Improve the pipeline to ensure timely defect handling and status updates.
• Leverage AI to advance AI-driven open source development and feedback loops.
