Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ related experience with a BA; 6 years with a MS; 3 years with a PhD; or equivalent combination.
• 5 years of related experience in video production, social media content, multimedia production, digital storytelling, or content strategy.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, quality, and alignment with editorial standards.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video content and involvement in strategy, production, editing, and storytelling.
• Strong hands-on video production capabilities: interviewing, lighting, audio, editing, graphics, captions, and platform formatting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a short-form video content strategy aligned with MITRE’s objectives.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve production efficiency across ideation, transcript analysis, clip identification, captioning.
• Identify compelling stories across MITRE’s experts and programs and translate them into social-first concepts.
• Own short-form video projects from concept through delivery: scripting, interviewing, shooting, editing, packaging.
• Produce content for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other platforms.
• Apply social-first storytelling with hooks, pacing, and platform-specific editing.
• Stay current on social media trends and AI capabilities to support MITRE’s mission.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with communications, creative, technical, and leadership teams.
