Job summary

Looi Consulting LLC is seeking a hands-on, AI-native Senior Product Designer/UX Consultant to modernize complex workflows across 70-80 major routes and hundreds of interfaces. This role focuses on understanding workflows, uncovering undocumented rules, and delivering practical, implementation-ready designs rather than visual polish.

The ideal candidate blends B2B SaaS product design experience, technical fluency, and advanced AI proficiency.

Qualifications

Strong background designing complex ERP, CRM, field-service, or operational platforms with data-heavy workflows.
Proven experience simplifying established applications while preserving critical business rules and user familiarity.
Extensive hands-on use of AI throughout discovery, workflow analysis, research, prototyping, and documentation—not just UI generation.
Practical experience with AI tools and the ability to structure AI workflows, validate outputs, and identify inaccuracies and missing requirements.
Advanced Figma skills including user flows, interactive prototypes, reusable components, design systems, and developer-ready specifications.
Experience working with React/frontend engineers, understanding API/data constraints, and producing AI-assisted development specifications.
Strong user research, usability testing, and edge-case analysis.
Ability to prioritize independently and communicate decisions for a 20-hour weekly workload.

Responsibilities

AI-native design across discovery, workflow analysis, and documentation with validation of AI outputs.
Analyze and simplify workflows across estimating, inventory, scheduling, invoicing, payments, and CRM while preserving legacy rules.
Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and developer-ready Figma designs.
Establish reusable design components and patterns for navigation, forms, tables, filtering, notifications, and error handling.
Produce structured specifications for engineers and AI coding agents; validate technical feasibility and parity.
Conduct stakeholder interviews and usability reviews to identify pain points and validate decisions.
Develop a UX modernization roadmap and prioritize high-impact improvements for incremental releases.
