Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Experience in incident response across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and identity providers (Okta, Entra ID).
• Ability to translate security research into actionable detections or threat hunt investigations.
• Strong communication skills—able to explain technical findings to engineers and customers.
• Experience with detection engineering at scale.
• Bonus: SOC/ MDR background; familiarity with a wide range of security tools (SIEM, EDR, SOAR); customer-facing technical experience; AI tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered detection tooling to automate detection creation, tuning, and validation at scale.
• Conduct security research by analyzing cloud, identity, and SaaS data sources to identify detection opportunities.
• Perform authorized attack simulations to validate detection coverage and identify gaps.
• Hunt for threats across customer environments using our platform.
• Investigate security incidents to demonstrate product value and refine detection logic.
• Engage with customers to present analysis results and gather feedback.
• Tune detections to reduce false positives and improve accuracy.
• Build automation to scale investigation and threat hunting workflows.
