Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an AI & Automation Engineer for its Cyber Security Engineering team. The role focuses on building automation scripts in Python and Golang, orchestrating Cortex XSOAR playbooks, and advancing the company’s AI enablement efforts through RAG, Agent-to-Agent communications, and MCP implementations.

You will collaborate with security analysts and cross-functional teams in a hybrid Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field plus 5 years’ experience; or Master’s with 4+ years.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Golang.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Automate security and incident response tasks with Python and Golang.
• Orchestrate Cortex XSOAR playbooks and integrations to speed incident resolution.
• Collaborate with security analysts and stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile sprints, planning, and retrospectives.
• Assist in AI technologies, including RAG architectures and MCP integration.
