Job summary

CSC Generation is an AI-native holding company modernizing retail operations across 13 brands. The SecOps Engineer will build AI-aware defenses, integrate with CI/CD, and develop tooling using AWS, ELK, Grafana, and GitHub Workflows.

You will own tooling end-to-end from prototype to production and partner with multiple engineering teams to drive remediation. Hybrid roles in Houston and Toronto require hands-on security engineering, threat detection, and proactive defense leveraging AI/LLM tools

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS security tooling experience.
• CI/CD security integration with GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Python or Go for tooling.
• Offensive security background with translating findings to defenses.

Responsibilities

• Build and run security tooling across codebases.
• Integrate automated security scanning into GitHub Workflows (CI/CD).
• Design threat detection tools with observability platforms (ELK, Grafana).
• Build AI-powered tools monitoring AWS perimeter for anomalies.
• Own the full lifecycle of security tooling from prototype to production.
• Partner with engineering teams to action findings and iterate tooling.
• Translate security findings into concrete remediation steps.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure (IAM, VPC, networking).
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR and automated response playbooks.
