Job summary

Dassault Systèmes is seeking a Scientific Software Developer in San Diego to advance the MARIE AI-powered companion within BIOVIA's Molecular Design. You will work in a hybrid role, on-site in San Diego, applying your background in scientific visualization and programming to deliver high-quality software using agile practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, experience with TypeScript/Python, and a strong drive to adopt leading-edge technologies.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Computational Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
3+ years of combined academic and professional experience in scientific visualization and computer science.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical/biotech use-cases and cheminformatics is a plus.
Strong OO design, patterns, and software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

Support development of the MARIE AI-powered companion for scientists within BIOVIA products, specifically Molecular Design.
Integrate simulations into Molecular Design.
Develop new approaches to scientific software within a larger, agile team.
Collaborate with application development, QA, product marketing, technical communications, and services teams.
