Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s UnitedHealthcare unit offers a full-time, paid, in-person Sales Internship in Phoenix, AZ beginning June 1, 2027. The program provides hands-on experience in Medicare sales, customer interactions, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will develop selling and presentation skills, learn our end-to-end sales process, and contribute to AI-driven initiatives while growing in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree for the full duration of the internship.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 10-week internship program focused on the Medicare business and serving Medicare-eligible members.
• Develop selling and presentation skills through sales competitions and projects.
• Gain exposure to our end-to-end sales process and health insurance market.
• Build understanding of the Direct-to-Consumer Sales model.
