Job summary

Fortive is seeking an Architect to own end-to-end product architectures for core SaaS offerings and AI-driven capabilities. You will lead the design of scalable, secure systems across APIs, identity, data, and AI layers, collaborating with Engineering, Product, Data & AI, and TechOps to set standards and drive execution.

You will supervise architecture governance, ADRs, and patterns, while mentoring engineers and ensuring platform alignment with business priorities and one Accruent platform

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or product architecture roles.
• Experience designing cloud-based, distributed SaaS systems in production environments.
• Experience integrating platforms across API, identity, data, and AI domains.
• Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the architecture vision, standards, and roadmap for assigned products or product lines.
• Design scalable, high-performance, and resilient systems across application, integration, data, and AI layers.
• Establish and maintain current-state and future-state architecture documentation.
• Align product architecture with business priorities, customer needs, and platform strategy (Identity, APIM, Data, AI).
• Architect product capabilities that leverage AI/ML and GenAI services, including AI-assisted workflows and agent integrations.
• Partner with Data & AI teams to ensure data pipelines, models, and services are scalable, secure, and production-ready.
• Define architecture patterns for model integration, data access, governance, and AI service orchestration.
• Translate platform capabilities into practical, product-level implementations and promote reusable patterns.
