Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Risk Manager II to design and implement end-to-end compliance and safety solutions across health and personal care categories in North America. You will influence cross-functional teams including legal, business, and BI to deliver scalable controls.

The role requires 4+ years in compliance program management, strong data and metrics capabilities, and experience with medical device regulations and auditing credentials.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience handling confidential information
• 2+ years of experience with medical device regulations, classifications, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FDA 510(k), Class I/II/III devices, QMS)

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments for current functions and processes
• Document existing processes and review SOPs to identify gaps in safety and compliance controls
• Support the establishment and maintenance of process controls to ensure ongoing compliance with safety standards
• Define control health management strategy and ensure product safety and compliance controls are effective worldwide
• Lead execution and maintenance of proactive safety solutions for large-scale categories across worldwide stores, applying learnings globally
• Collaborate with legal, technical, and business teams to support safety and compliance solutions
• Manage cross-functional teams indirectly involved with the execution of the program
• Build mechanisms and send out communication to leaders on progress
• Partner with Business Intelligence teams to build required reporting and share periodic updates with leaders
• Build processes and automate workflows where possible with the use of AI
