Job summary

Amazon Health Services (AHS) is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to lead regulatory risk assessment and the design of a robust compliance program across payer relations and digital health products. This role partners with Amazon Pharmacy and One Medical teams to ensure regulatory alignment and effective risk mitigation.

The position focuses on evaluating regulatory risk, overseeing complex contracts, and enabling business partners to address compliance requirements with a closed-loop approach.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of regulatory and risk management experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local government contracting laws, rules, and regulations.
• Knowledge of Healthcare Laws & Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of policies and procedures.
• Be a subject matter expert on federal, state and local healthcare regulatory rules and regulations.
• Regularly consult the business on the applicability to the business.
• Review vendor agreements with focus on federal and state regulatory requirements, including CMS, Stark and Anti-Kickback risk and state regulations.
• Partner cross functionally to assist with validating risks and establish a robust system for mitigation of risk with an emphasis on closed-loop root cause analysis and corrective actions for applicable products.
