Job summary

Schneider Electric's Quality team in Foxborough, MA is seeking an AI Quality & Continuous Improvement Intern for the Spring 2027 semester (17.5 hours/week, part-time). You will collaborate with the Global Quality Center of Excellence to accelerate AI adoption within Quality through AI-enabled solutions and knowledge management.

You will help identify use cases, develop prototypes with Copilot and Power Platform, and create dashboards in Power BI to measure impact.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Quality Management, Business, or related field.
• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and process improvement.
• Analytical mindset with data, research, or problem-solving experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience or interest in Copilot, Power BI, or AI tools is valued.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research emerging AI technologies, tools, and best practices relevant to Quality and Continuous Improvement.
• Identify opportunities to apply Copilot, generative AI, and automation to quality processes.
• Conduct process assessments to identify efficiency improvements.
• Develop AI-powered prototypes and workflows using Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Platform.
• Analyze data to uncover trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Create dashboards and visualizations with Power BI to track AI adoption metrics.
• Assist in creating AI training materials and user guides.
• Collaborate with global teams to gather requirements and drive adoption.
• Support governance, measurement, and value-tracking approaches for AI initiatives.
• Present recommendations and impact to Quality leadership.
