Job summary

Intone Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Architect for a 6-month contract in New York, NY, with a hybrid work model. You will design and implement scalable automation solutions, lead QA initiatives, and collaborate with distributed teams to ensure high-quality releases.

The role requires deep expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, AI-driven QA, and enterprise-scale testing strategies, plus strong leadership across onsite and offshore locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA and test automation experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to build automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong CI/CD and DevOps understanding.
• Experience with AI/ML in QA and test generation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright and TypeScript
• Implement UI, API, and end-to-end test automation strategies
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Define and implement test strategies, quality gates, and reporting metrics
• Drive AI-based QA initiatives, including test generation, optimization, and self-healing tests
• Identify and resolve test flakiness and performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
• Lead and mentor QA teams across onsite and offshore locations
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and reusable automation components
