Job summary

Mphasis in Atlanta seeks a Python/AI Developer to modernize legacy code with AI-assisted tools within an Agile squad. You will build Python-based web apps, backend services, and automation that align with banking tech requirements.

You will design AI-driven components, integrate LLMs, author tests, review code for quality, and document automation procedures while collaborating with analysts, QA, and product owners.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in core Python development.
• Experience with AI application development, including building AI agents and integrating LLMs.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Experience with Python data/ML libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn).
• Understanding of unit testing tools (pytest, unittest) and test automation.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise scale automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and workflow-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to generate Python-based web applications, backend services, and automation solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to design and generate unit test cases and execute tests.
• Build AI-driven components leveraging Agentic AI frameworks and modern AI tools.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for stability and performance.
• Stay updated with emerging Python and AI technologies and best practices.
• Design, develop, and test automation workflows with assured quality.
• Monitor changes after feedback during development or testing while preserving specifications.
• Review code/design and contribute to integration of systems.
• Configure new automations in an efficient and understandable way.
• Document automation procedures and develop custom libraries.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, QA, and Product Owners to deliver on time.
