Job summary

Consertus is seeking an Application Developer to architect, build, and maintain high-performance Python applications deployed on Google Cloud Platform. You will leverage Claude Code as an AI-assisted development environment to accelerate delivery, ensure code quality, and implement rigorous security validations.

The role emphasizes scalable microservices, event-driven architecture, and robust CI/CD, with a strong focus on security and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

3–5 years of professional software development experience building enterprise applications.
Proficiency with Python 3.10+ and modern frameworks including FastAPI.
Experience designing and deploying containerized applications in Google Cloud Platform environments.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain Python applications on GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions).
Develop scalable microservices and event-driven solutions using Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, and Eventarc.
Create and maintain RESTful APIs with strong authentication, versioning, and performance optimization.
Write clean, modular Python code following PEP 8, typing, and best practices.
Configure and maintain IaC with Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines.
