Job summary

Dartmouth College is seeking a Project Manager for Research & Innovation to lead Teevens Center projects, coordinating timelines, stakeholders, and outcomes. The role interfaces with faculty, athletics, campus partners, students, and external collaborators to translate ideas into executable plans.

Responsibilities include managing research and innovation priorities, grant tracking, and communications while supporting the Center’s growth and strategic initiatives in a dynamic higher-education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of relevant project management, research coordination, higher education, athletics, health, wellness, human performance, or related experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables in a complex organization
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and solve problems appropriately
• Experience contributing to reports, presentations, web content, communications, or other written and visual materials
• Familiarity with, or interest in learning about, human performance, sport science, health and wellness, leadership development, applied research, or innovation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Faculty, Students, Staff, Senior leaders, and external partners
• Comfort working with project management tools, online data collection systems, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and communication platforms
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and tracking systems
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, cultural awareness, and serving the needs of a diverse campus community

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, and executes assigned Teevens Center projects from concept through completion.
• Develops project plans, timelines, objectives, deliverables, meeting structures, and resource needs for assigned initiatives.
• Tracks progress across multiple projects and provides regular updates to the Director and relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinates agendas, meeting notes, follow-up items, project documentation, and stakeholder communications.
• Supports cross-functional initiatives across research and innovation, varsity athletics, leadership development, student programming, wellness, and campus partnerships.
• Helps identify and resolve barriers to project completion, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Maintains quality and consistency of project deliverables across internal and external efforts.
• Works independently to anticipate needs, solve problems, and keep projects moving forward.
