Job summary

GovSpend seeks a Product Manager to lead AI-enabled product innovation, partnering with engineering to deploy LLM-powered features and intelligent agents. You’ll translate market insights into actionable projects with measurable outcomes and align cross-functional teams to deliver value for government customers.

You’ll collaborate with sales, design, and data teams, engage customers to validate the roadmap, and drive adoption of new AI-driven workflows across GovSpend’s platform.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Product Management experience.
• Hands-on experience applying modern AI tools to automate product development.
• Deep understanding of generative AI technologies, LLMs, RAG architectures, and AI agents.
• 3+ years of experience working with internal Sales and Relationship Management teams.
• 3+ years of experience working directly with customers.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, ideally with a Product Owner role.
• Familiarity with Federal/State/Local Government procurement is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-augmented product development lifecycle across projects.
• Draft, refine, and maintain high-quality user stories with engineering, data, and UI/UX teams.
• Identify opportunities to embed AI, ML, and intelligent agents into GovSpend platform.
• Collaborate with engineering to train, test, scale, and deploy AI features.
• Communicate product vision and progress to stakeholders across the organization.
• Coordinate with design, data, and engineering to achieve cross-team outcomes.
• Work with commercial teams to identify product enhancements for new business opportunities.
• Engage customers to understand challenges and validate the roadmap.
• Provide product training and support go-to-market initiatives to drive adoption.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
