Job summary

Gaia is building a fintech-enabled fertility platform to reduce cost and improve outcomes. As a Product Engineer, you will architect infrastructure that makes family building accessible to everyone, owning critical components like the Gaia Orchestrator, AI-native operations, and underwriting pipelines.

You’ll work with a highly regulated, emotionally charged domain, collaborating in small cross-functional teams to ship reliable, scalable systems backed by AI and modern cloud tech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a full-stack engineer in startup environments.
• Strong Python and TypeScript; Frappe framework experience is a plus but not required, it’s learnable.
• Experience with MariaDB or any other RDBMS.
• AI-native mindset: actively using AI in development; integration of LLM APIs and automation.
• Ability to thrive in small cross-functional teams and balance tactical execution with long-term strategy.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Gaia infrastructure enabling accessible family-building tech.
• Own state machines, workflows, and integrations across a complex ecosystem of patients, clinics, lenders, and insurers.
• Develop the AI-native operations layer with LLM-powered agents and automated routines.
• Build real-time underwriting models and data pipelines.
