Job summary

Southern Company Services seeks a Manager, Product Delivery to lead Source to Pay product management and AI-native delivery across on‑premise and cloud platforms. This role oversees a team of analysts/developers and partners with Business Process Manager and Scrum Master to drive the roadmap and timely delivery.

You will guide 6–12 professionals, apply SAFe practices, and ensure Oracle ERP and IBM Maximo procurement integrations while promoting responsible AI use and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in the electric or gas utility industry, with 2+ years supervising software developers in Agile/Waterfall.
• Strong business knowledge for Source to Pay processes (Accounting, Supply Chain).
• Strong technical knowledge of Oracle ERP and IBM Maximo Procurement.
• Experience with 3rd party integrations and related technologies.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality products; AI-assisted delivery experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate software development across multiple platforms for Source to Pay.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision and strategy.
• Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap including AI and automation.
• Partner with Business Process Manager to align with Southern Company objectives.
• Define requirements with cross-functional teams and break down features into user stories.
• Oversee sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews; track progress using AI-assisted analysis.
• Coordinate testing with Regression and UAT teams; apply AI-assisted test generation.
• Coach teams on AI-native ways of working and ensure responsible AI use.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business / Accounting / CS

Master’s degree / MBA preferred

5+ years in electric/gas utility industry

2+ years supervising software developers

Strong Agile / Waterfall experience

AI-assisted delivery / Copilot usage
