Job summary

TENEX.AI in Florida is seeking a Platform Engineer, AI & Security, to expand how our platform connects with the security ecosystem. You will combine software development with hands-on deployment of enterprise security products to enable reliable integrations, environments, and tooling.

You will write software, configure security technologies, and understand API behavior and authentication models to support engineers building AI-driven capabilities and enterprise use cases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software or security engineering with hands-on development.
• Proficient in Python and modern VCS workflows.
• Experience building API integrations and troubleshooting authentication, authorization, data exchange, and system behavior.
• Hands-on experience deploying and configuring multiple security products within an enterprise.
• Working knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, cloud security, network security, and identity platforms.
• Experience automating infrastructure or application configuration and maintaining reliable technical environments.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar products and translate security requirements into engineering work.
• Strong collaboration skills and translating security requirements into engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain security products across cloud, AI security, network, endpoint, and identity domains to support engineering development and validation.
• Write and maintain software that connects with security vendor APIs, automates product setup, and makes integrations repeatable.
• Build reusable tooling for provisioning, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting across a diverse security technology ecosystem.
• Develop representative configurations and workflows reflecting how security products are deployed and used in enterprise environments.
• Partner with engineers building AI-driven capabilities to make security product functionality accessible, testable, and well understood.
• Investigate vendor APIs, permissions, data models, and product behavior; document integration requirements, limitations, and edge cases.
• Build automated checks that verify connectivity, configuration, and expected behavior as vendor products and TENEX capabilities evolve.
• Diagnose integration failures and distinguish between issues in TENEX software, vendor products, and environment configuration.
• Maintain technical documentation and implementation examples that help engineering teams build on your work.
