Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Platform Engineering Lead to drive end-to-end delivery of a MarTech platform. You will stay hands-on, write critical code, and lead a 6–10 engineer team across in-house and vendor talent, aligning architecture with product strategy and governance.

You will shape engineering standards, enable AI-assisted development, and improve observability and reliability while partnering with security, product, and architecture teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with high-traffic, production-grade systems.
• 2+ years of leading or managing engineers.
• Expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript and strong Rust exposure.
• Deep architecture expertise: event-driven, API-first, distributed systems, and data platforms.
• Strong DevOps and IaC mastery (Terraform/CDK) and CI/CD familiarity.
• AI-enabled engineering experience is preferred.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a high-impact MarTech/AdTech platform or component while remaining hands-on.
• Manage and grow a focused engineering team of 6–10 engineers across in-house and vendor talent.
• Translate architecture and product strategy into executable engineering plans with milestones.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards and AI guardrails for secure, maintainable code.
• Drive developer velocity through automation, templates, CI/CD improvements and tooling.
• Improve observability, incident response, root-cause analysis, and reliability practices (SRE/SLOs).
• Apply AI patterns including vector search and RAG for personalization and grounded AI features.
• Identify bottlenecks in performance, cost and developer experience and lead improvements.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Security and stakeholders to align scope and risk.
