Job summary

Legato, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer with AI experience to design, implement, and support multi-platform networks in a TS/SCI with Polygraph environment near Linthicum, MD. The role requires strong routing, switching and security skills, plus AI background.

Responsibilities include planning, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure, diagnosing performance issues, and guiding a small team. A CCNA and 10 years of relevant experience are required, with a generous compensation package.

Qualifications

• Background in artificial intelligence (AI).
• Ability to install and configure Cisco routers and switches.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems with Cisco ASA firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and management apps.
• Experience translating security requirements into device configurations.
• Design and implement backbone networks.
• Provide technical direction for operation, configuration and maintenance of network devices.
• Able to direct a small team in resolving complex issues.
• CCNA Certification is required.
• Ten (10) years of experience as a Network Engineer in routing, switching and network security.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and support multi-platform, multi-system networks.
• Diagnose network performance shortcoming and design/implement improvements.
• Develop, operate and manage networks required to operate in this environment.
