Job summary

Tenaska, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain Windows Services, APIs, and related applications. You will translate business needs into concrete, testable requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to drive rapid, secure delivery.

You will use AI tools to accelerate work while ensuring quality and compliance. You will own features end-to-end from discovery to production, work on CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to a robust architectural approach while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of .NET (preferably C#).
• Experience using AI in development workflows and guiding AI tools.
• Hands-on use of AI tools in professional or personal projects.
• Strong communication and ability to translate business needs into tests.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD, and production-ready software practices.
• Familiar with T-SQL and basic NoSQL concepts.
• Ability to read unfamiliar code and prototype quickly.
• Security-conscious coding practices.

Responsibilities
