Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, accounting, business, data analytics, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2-5 years of experience in multifamily underwriting, acquisitions, CRE, real estate private equity, lending, valuation, asset management, or investment analysis.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities with clear documentation of assumptions.
• Strong command of multifamily operating statements, rent rolls, property valuation, and investment return metrics.
• Ability to evaluate incomplete information and validate data against sources.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools and validating outputs against source data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for presenting analysis.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and value multifamily investments; build, maintain, and audit acquisition models.
• Analyze unlevered and levered returns, IRR, cash-on-cash, cap rates, and exit scenarios.
• Perform operating analysis including rent rolls, occupancy, concessions, and expenses.
• Assess renovation scope, rent premiums, lease-up timing, and capital needs.
• Develop base, upside, and downside scenarios; stress test key drivers.
• Conduct market and competitive intelligence affecting investment thesis.
• Evaluate debt and capital structure options; assist due diligence.
• Prepare investment memoranda and respond to investment committee questions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to ensure executable plans.
