Job summary

DeepLearning.AI in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Marketing Engineer to embed in marketing, building automation and AI-driven tooling that scales a small team’s output. You will code, create agentic workflows, and integrate martech like Customer.io, Hootsuite, Stripe, and PostHog to automate manual processes.

The role reports to the Head of Marketing and sits with AI engineers, focusing on tool-building, data pipelines for Metabase dashboards, and performance tracking across campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a software engineer, with 1–2 years applying that experience to marketing, growth, or RevOps problems.
• Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs and agentic workflows or tool-use patterns.
• Strong scripting and integration skills (Python or JavaScript/Node) and comfort with REST APIs and webhooks.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows that automate lifecycle triggers, campaign QA, segmentation logic, and reporting.
• Identify high-leverage marketing workflows to automate first in partnership with Lifecycle Marketing Manager and Marketing Operations Coordinator.
• Build internal tools to let non-technical marketers configure and launch automations without engineering support.
• Continuously evaluate new agentic and AI tooling and prototype applications to funnel problems.
