Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Marketing Data Platform Architect to define, govern, and evolve its marketing data platform. This leader will drive Databricks-based design, scalable data architectures, and AI-ready data structures to enable advanced analytics and audience activation.

You will partner with Adobe, Salesforce, and engineering to ensure secure, scalable, and integrated data solutions that support modern marketing use cases and automated decision making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or related disciplines.
• Hands‑on Databricks experience including Delta Lake, Spark, governance and orchestration.
• Experience in modern lakehouse architectures and enterprise data platforms.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Experience designing AI‑driven data solutions and automation practices.
• Strong metadata management, lineage, observability, and data governance.
• Understanding of Adobe and Salesforce ecosystems and integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Own the architectural vision, governance, performance, and long‑term evolution of the marketing data platform.
• Lead design and operational strategy of Databricks as the marketing data platform.
• Define scalable data architectures for analytics, personalization, and AI use cases.
• Establish platform standards for data modeling, ingestion, observability, security, and promotion.
• Design and govern reusable data products for trusted access to marketing data.
• Drive modernization to improve scalability, reduce debt, and accelerate delivery.
• Govern metadata, lineage, data quality, and lifecycle management.
• Design for AI native and agentic operations with automated controls and monitoring.
• Partner with Adobe, Salesforce, analytics, engineering and business teams for integration.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance and business value.
