Job summary

Amazon AWS ProServe seeks an experienced Specialist ProServe Cloud Architect for Healthcare and Life Sciences, combining deep R&D knowledge with hands-on solution architecture in AI-native workflows. The role spans data foundations, ontology orchestration, and AI data readiness to accelerate discovery through late-stage development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning or equivalent quantitative field, or Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies in Life Sciences R&D and Clinical Development contexts — including knowledge graphs, ontologies, data lakes, AI/ML, GenAI, and/or semantic data integration
• 7+ years of solving problems with technology in Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry experience
• 7+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies in Life Sciences R&D and Clinical Development contexts — including knowledge graphs, ontologies, data lakes, AI/ML, GenAI, and/or semantic data integration
• 7+ years of experience driving professional services business development, opportunity shaping, or technical pre-sales for R&D and/or clinical data platforms, AI/ML, or digital transformation programs in pharma/biotech

Responsibilities

• Serving as the practice's dedicated specialist and deep domain expert in R&D — including Amazon BioDiscovery and AI-native research
• Developing GTM strategies, offerings, and accelerators for the data and context layer space spanning research and clinical
• Counseling HCLS executives to explore AI-driven transformation across Research and Clinical Development
• Collaborating with internal teams to innovate AWS solutions, services, accelerators, and demos
• Designing complex data foundations, ontology‑orchestration, and Agentic AI architectures on AWS
• Driving large, complex opportunities from ideation to sales closure with technical qualification
• Leading engagement on high-potential opportunities across Life Sciences accounts
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends in R&D and clinical AI, data architectures
