Job summary

Freshfields US LLP seeks a senior technology strategist to design and deliver AI-enabled legal tech solutions at scale, partnering with lawyers, practice groups and business stakeholders. Qualifications

• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs across enterprise providers (Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Anthropic).
• Understanding of ML models and algorithms.
• Proficient Python in a professional environment.
• DevOps: git, containerization (Docker) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
• Strong English communication across stakeholders.
• Experience with retrieval-enabled document workflows, hybrid search and RAG.

Responsibilities

• Partner with lawyers, practice groups, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI and legal technology opportunities.
• Translate legal workflows and business requirements into solution designs and author technical design documents.
• Design end-to-end AI-enabled solutions for legal service delivery, knowledge management, and drafting.
• Build prototypes and proofs of concept to validate designs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define requirements and guide delivery.
• Evaluate emerging AI and automation capabilities and recommend practical applications.
